Finally time to pack ourselves up and roll to the Black Rock desert. Somehow three of us fit in one cargo van with all of our things. Less than a week before the event our camp was like an outpost in a great barren expanse. In a few days we'd be in the center of a bustling city. Our shipment of wood arrived and it was the entire full load of a tractor trailer. Hearth camp then became camp woodpile. People asked, "Are you sure you're going to burn all of that wood?" O yes.. oh yess. |
